B - What bus route did this tram replace?

Today, the fbbs are motoring north to Abergynolwyn to join son, daughter-in-law and their teenage lads for a few days' worth of insults and patronising remarks. It will be a joyous privilege!

Largely the journey will lack any meaningful opportunity to spot any buses.

fbb towers will have its usual high-level security provided by neighbour with ferocious dog and aged cat.

South Western Falcon? Might just spot one on the M5
24/7 does NOT include Christmas Day but does include a limited service on 26th
Buses of Somerset? Nowt
First in Bristol etc? Might spot something from the M5. Generally a good City service.
Newport Buses? Maybe
Stagecoach South Wales? Maybe

 ADVENT CALENDAR 26
It is only in the last 100 years (or so) that Christmas has moved! Historically Advent began at the start of December and we were all challenged to prepare ourselves "spiritually" for CHRISTmas ...
... which started after Midnight on Christmas Eve; hence "Midnight Mass".

If the vicar times it right, at 0001 on 25th December**, we should be singing the fourth verse of "O Come All Ye Faithful".

Yea, Lord, we greet thee,
born this happy morning;
Jesus, to thee be glory given!
Word of the Father,
now in flesh appearing!
O come, let us adore Him, (×3)
Christ the Lord.

Christmas starts there and goes on for 12 days, ending on the twelfth night! So this blog's traditional Advent Calendar keeps going so as to include the rest of the Christmas Story.

Two main events are recorded

Mary and Joseph take the baby to the Temple for His dedication.

A group of Zoroastrian savants rock up and create a big bother with King Herod.

CHRISTmas is not over yet ...
... not by any stretch of the imagination.

At 0001 on 25th, the aged fbbs were safely tucked up in their beddybyes, ready, later, to lead a small but enjoyable Christmas Day service. A group of visitors holidaying in Seaton joined the small but anticipatory congregation. It was huge privilege to lead a joyous but challenging service and to share fully in "The Reason for the Season".

The service ended with everyone enjoying a cup of mulled wine (non alcoholic!). A really happy CHRISTmas.
