Fun In Frankfurt (Mini-blog)

Coach Rally UK
Enthusiasts often visit the rally to enjoy the very well presented luxury coaches, with Parry's often being amongst the prizes. Kenzies entry is always popular, notably when their vintage Leyland Leopard appears.
The highlight amongst the drivers, however, is the driving competition. There's a "narrow road" ...
... a tight wiggle ...
... and a reverse into a "garage".
In his coach driving days, fbb was fairly useless at all such manoeuvres!

Tram Rally Frankfurt
But how about testing your skills as a tram driver? Each year you assemble at one of the European tram networks and, let the games commence. Tim Traveller posted this video of this year's festivities.
Watch and enjoy!

Alan Jones RIP
My good friend Alan, who died back in July, has not yet had a funeral. This is now being organised by the Northampton Transport Heritage Trust. There may be blog readers who knew Alan and who might like to join us. It is to be held at the Counties Crematorium at Milyon Malsor Northampton at 1015 on Monday 28th October.

In Alan's memory, a heritage bus will run from town to the Crematorium and back to Abington branch library for refreshments. This is very appropriate as Alan's whole working life was as a librarian in Northampton.

 Next Mini-blog : Sunday 6th Oct
