St Francis Bells

A correction.

The old church bells from Imber, removed in 1950, were destined for the church of St Francis, Salisbury but in the end were rejected as it was considered the tower was unsafe. In 1968 the 18th century bell was incorporated in the new ring of ten bells at Edington Priory. The remaining four bells were scrapped. The six bells installed in the tower at Imber came from a number of sources and were hung on 30th August 2010.
