Problem: HP Print...LIVE Entry – 1 (March-21-2014)

Problem: HP Printer not connecting to my laptop.

I had an issue while connecting my 2 year old HP printer to my brother's laptop that I had borrowed for starting my own business. I used a quick google search to fix the problem but that did not help me.

I then decided to get professional help to solve my problem. After having received many quotations from various companies, i decided to go ahead with Online Tech Repair (www.onlinetechrepairs.com).

Reasons I chose them over the others:
1) They were extremely friendly and patient with me during my initial discussions and responded promptly to my request.
2) Their prices were extremely reasonable.
3) They were ready and willing to walk me through the entire process step by step and were on call with me till i got it fixed.

How did they do it
1) They first asked me to state my problem clearly and asked me a few questions. This was done to detect any physical connectivity issues with the printer.
2) After having answered this, they confirmed that the printer and the laptop were functioning correctly.
3) They then, asked me if they could access my laptop remotely to troubleshoot the problem and fix it. I agreed.
4) One of the tech support executives accessed my laptop and started troubleshooting.
5) I sat back and watched as the tech support executive was navigating my laptop to spot the issue. The issue was fixed.
6) I was told that it was due to an older version of the driver that had been installed.

My Experience
I loved the entire friendly conversation that took place with them. They understood my needs clearly and acted upon the solution immediately. Being a technical noob, i sometimes find it difficult to communicate with tech support teams. It was a very different experience with the guys at Online Tech Repairs. You can check out their website www.onlinetechrepairs.com or call them on 1-914-613-3786.
Would definitely recommend this service to anyone who needs help fixing their computers.
Thanks a ton guys. I can NEVER remember seeing a D9 as bright and shiny as the preserved one illustrated. I wonder whether the preservationists erred on the glossiness of their shade? NBC sloppy red was a very poor quality colour from the start. Fred Wood shaving a few pennies of the budget?fatbusblokehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06833340546527596517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-34809257224657717112013-02-01T18:56:53.360+00:002013-02-01T18:56:53.360+00:00"The logo as applied to the vehicles was most..."The logo as applied to the vehicles was most definitely not tasteful.
Its garish colours clashed violently with BMMO's staid but universally recognisable red; the logo faded quickly and photographed badly ..."

I rather doubt that the Reddibus logo ever clashed directly with BMMO's staid, etc, red - by the time MAP (or VNP = Viable Network Project, as it was initially titled) started, Midland Red was using NBC's standard poppy red. That colour also faded, so it probably went well with the fading logos.

It is interesting to see the effect a small change in the shade of a colour can make. The D9 in your photo at the top actually looks quite acceptable, despite the obvious plainness of a single colour livery. OK, it is clean and fresh, and I do recall seeing vehicles in the BMMO red looking rather dull, but it obviously could work. Poppy red never achieved that in my book - it was simply dull and uninspiring.RC169https://www.blogger.com/profile/03921368833118123055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-18340446222076321192013-02-01T17:15:03.735+00:002013-02-01T17:15:03.735+00:00Having worked for a County and latterly Borough Co...Having worked for a County and latterly Borough Councils (until retirement 18 months ago) my view is that most politicians do not understand buses.

Many still have a mindset that goes back to pre deregulation licensing. They cannot, or will not understand that they (the Council) cannot tell the operators what to do. Operators are regarded as being obstructive if they won't do as they are asked!

For years many regarded concessionary fares payments as though they were giving operators a free gift without due reason and should as a result be able to demand more in the way of services. This appears to have been replaced by one of 'we can just cut what we pay them as we can't afford it'!! That worries me more.

I tend to use the phrase 'votes win prizes' - it means they keep their seat and the 'power' that comes with it. Allowances, which increase if they become a Cabinet Member, and believe it or not a Local Government pension. A Cabinet Member usually has complete autocratic control of a whole department (or more) - its policies and budget, which will be considerably larger than most people could ever dream of controlling.

There are some good Councillors but I fear that their numbers are reducing.
