Nightmare! <br /><br />Having perused new timetables and departure points for future reference it seems all logic has been thrown out the window. I'd have expected the bus station to solely handle rural and interurban routes, while town services picked up and set down only in the Drapery. Not so, we now have an ugly mix of town services using both and rural services using both.<br /><br />Certainly the Drapery will be massively busy throughout the day with who knows how many movements per hour. I would have thought common sense would have been to reopen Mercers Row and Wood Hill (like in the good 'ol days) to handle south bound town services (10+ departures per hour) and relieve congestion that way.The Mercers row/Wood Hill loop could also be used for vehicles coming in from the North to realign back up The Drapery.<br /><br />Oh well, it is Northampton after all. I feel sorry for anyone wanting to catch a National Express coach...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
