They ran 27 from High Moor via Killamarsh and Westthorpe to Chesterfield (opposite way round to today's 72) and 46 from Clowne Depot via High Moor, Spinkhill and Killamarsh to Mosborough and Sheffield. Both were two-hourly plus extras in 1972 though 46 had increased to hourly in 1978.

The timetable includes a few Sheffield/SY services but none serving killamarsh.Frankfroghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13403026066646366579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-5946745149573849552019-12-31T09:11:28.479+00:002019-12-31T09:11:28.479+00:00I don't think the Sheffield - Killamarsh 26 se...I don't think the Sheffield - Killamarsh 26 service can have become 226 under South Yorkshire PTE's countywide service numbering scheme. Under that scheme 226 was allocated to the former Yorkshire Traction 23 (Barnsley - Wombwell - Wath - Bolton-on-Dearne - Goldthorpe - Thurnscoe), which paralleled the main line of the short-lived Dearne District Light Railways. It still runs as 226 today, now with Stagecoach.RLTnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-81898874388646131472019-12-31T07:01:21.129+00:002019-12-31T07:01:21.129+00:00At least the Amazon box was full of recyclable mat...At least the Amazon box was full of recyclable materials rather than plastic beads!
