Additionally all the local services in the Oakham area (except the 9 to Stamford & Peterborough) are run by Melton based vehicles which means it is cheaper & easier to schedule relief drivers. Also this service is also tied in with new employment buses serving Rutland which run from places like Melton Mowbray & Corby which are even further from Kimes.

It doesn't appear to be summer only, certainly there is no end date for the service registered at this time and there doesn't appear to be any indication one will be introduced at the moment.dwarfer1979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-60488486446236141792013-06-23T10:58:12.617+01:002013-06-23T10:58:12.617+01:00What looks like to be all of the Kimes services ar...What looks like to be all of the Kimes services are de-registered from 11 August, and re-registered in the name of Centrebus North Ltd.
The Rutland network is in the name of Centrebus East Ltd, and appears mainly to cover routes once run by Veolia or West End Travel in Melton Mowbray.Man of Kentnoreply@blogger.com
