The Cardiff end of the route was cut back to Newport around 1999.Ianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14179060513290116094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-16129265025665227262012-03-20T09:40:09.565+00:002012-03-20T09:40:09.565+00:00Your last photo has a vehicle in Express West live...Your last photo has a vehicle in Express West livery. There was a period in the 80s when NBC subsidiaries around the country linked services together or changed them from Express to Limited Stp, paying the driver.

Express West was a combination of (deep breath) the BOC/R&W Bristol-Cardiff, South Wales (former N&C) Cardiff-Swansea, South Wales/National Welsh (Western Welsh) Cardiff-Carmarthen and South Wales (Western Welsh) Carmarthen-Haverfordwest into one service. I do not have my timetable to hand, but from memory Bristol-Carmarthen was hourly and two hourly beyond.Daddysgadgetshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12892897553855129226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-22298211498710739312012-03-20T09:12:36.509+00:002012-03-20T09:12:36.509+00:00Must learn to type.
