Some might even have worked out what a bus is, <br /><br />As usual with an election looming I see an increasing number of press reports and photos of local politicians standing with disgruntled passengers etc. but often the true facts are obscured or ignored in the reports.<br /><br />There are some good politicians who show real concern and interest and some good local authorities but they can be out voted by the car lobby and other vested interests..<br /><br />The question is what will happen after the elections when, depending on who is in power, cuts potentially loom.<br /><br />Such partnerships rely on something tangible being put in by both sides. Seeing how local authorities seem to be prioritising their future spending we seem to be heading towards an era of unrepaired roads, no street lights - so just what will they be able to ACTUALLY be able to offer other than well meaning words?Clive Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02059026405966912480noreply@blogger.com
