However, period tickets are much better value, £28 for a week or £30 for a five day carnet to use within six months. Town zone tickets are often cheaper than parking for the day, but don't seem to be well advertised.Stevenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-85073043016719080252019-10-02T08:50:42.464+01:002019-10-02T08:50:42.464+01:00At the Swans Nest Roundabout the bus stop is serve...At the Swans Nest Roundabout the bus stop is served by the 2 and 2B. That is not what you think it is. The 2B is not a variant of the 2, but an extension of the city B (more a B2). It provides an additional service hourly from Exeter via Marsh Barton Business Zone (ie south side) to Dawlish except evenings and Sundays. The 2 goes into Exeter via Countess Weir and the Hospital (ie west side) like the 57 from Topsham.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-39915046884304526202019-10-02T08:30:04.687+01:002019-10-02T08:30:04.687+01:00First in Bristol tried a fare reduction a few year...First in Bristol tried a fare reduction a few years ago. To everyone's surprise it actually worked with enough extra passengers to bring in additional income to cycle into more improvements.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-40664577232640023772019-10-02T07:01:28.305+01:002019-10-02T07:01:28.305+01:00The Manchester franchising scheme has already been...The Manchester franchising scheme has already been subject to independent examination - it is part of the published papers on the Greater Manchester Combined Authority's website. Next week's meeting seeks authority to go to the next stage, which is to publish a notice of intent to go ahead with franchising.

On the matter of fares, research by Transport Focus shows this is usually some way down the lists of users' concerns. Mind you, with a Cornwall day ticket at something like £15, the county may be an exception.Shieldsmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00197794322283545552noreply@blogger.com
