The entry under Local Area; Bus Stops says:
Local area
No bus data found for station
Disclaimer
• The information presented here is based on a national bus timetable which is currently updated weekly.
• Produced by ITO World.
• Service data derived from Traveline data, provided by Intrasol Ltd, and Transport for London © Crown Copyright

So pretty useless, so far.

But separately, there is an entry called Transport links.
Helpfully, amongst other information, this tells you:
Bus services
Yes
Information to plan your onward journey is available in a printable format here.

This takes you to one of TfL's splendid Spiders Web route diagrams. It shows stops that seem to be accurate, all wthin a short walk of Smitham station.

WHERE? There's no such place as Smitham station. It was renamed Coulsdon Town over a year ago on 22nd May 2011.

So either the TOC or TfL doesn't know what the station is now called!

Most helpful (not).Petras409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-66260251381964901802012-08-08T08:15:28.368+01:002012-08-08T08:15:28.368+01:00I am forwarding these blogs, as published, to ATOC...I am forwarding these blogs, as published, to ATOC. Frankly, I don't expect to hear from them. They don't care; they have ticked the box; they are delivering sustainable (BUT WRONG) information. Job done!fatbusblokehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06833340546527596517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-26292633992737427172012-08-08T08:07:27.732+01:002012-08-08T08:07:27.732+01:00A group of southern England counties have managed ...A group of southern England counties have managed to make contact with ATOC over general concerns about the posters that contain similar -but not identical - information to what is on the website. That revealed that the budget only provides for the posters to be updated once annually; others have to be funded by the local TOC.

The non-use of local stop identities, as in this example, is particularly frustrating. At one station on our patch, we have recently managed to install a real time info display. You can stand in one place and look to see where we direct you to catch the bus, or you can look at the ATOC poster, that sends you to a different pair of stops....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
