Also the village bus shelter commemorates the railway with a nice locomotive picture. In the village of Erpingham a few miles away (and never on the railway) one house has two "Eastern & Midland" station roof supports built into its front garden wall! And at Swanton Road, a couple of miles west of Melton, the old crossing box survives and I see has now been made into a tearoom ("The Old Gatehouse").Andrew Kleissnernoreply@blogger.com
