First bus tickets av...News from South Yorkshire...<br /><br />First bus tickets available from<br />‘vending machines’<br /><br />From Tuesday 29 May passengers will be able to buy a range of First bus tickets from vending machines located at seven bus interchanges around South Yorkshire.<br /><br />Says South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) Director of Customer Services, Tim Taylor: “We’re making it more convenient and offering more choice to customers buying these tickets.<br /><br />“We’re always exploring how we can make using the bus an easier experience for passengers in South Yorkshire and this is just one step towards that.” <br /><br />The machines will help customers save money and time on their journey. <br /><br />First bus fares will be increasing from Sunday 27 May, but from buying tickets from the machines or via the First app, passengers can get a better deal. Tickets will be cheaper when bought prior to boarding the bus.” <br /><br />Passengers will be able to upload their First tickets on their TravelMaster cards, 16-18 Travel Pass and MegaTravel cards at machines located at Arundel Gate Interchange, Barnsley Interchange, Doncaster Interchange, Hillsborough Interchange, Meadowhall Interchange, Rotherham Interchange, Forge Island Bus Station and Sheffield Interchange. <br /><br />Payments can be made using cash, card or contactless.The Depot Catnoreply@blogger.com
