E&D never operated all the Havant routes of H&S as many H&S Havant routes ended many years before. There were Leigh Park circulars run by H&S much to the annoyance shall we say of Southdown/Stagecoach.
H&S operations in Eastleigh were under contract to HCC.
Serv 75 was subsidised by Southern Electric as served their employees at Pennar rd
Service 27 still exists albeit in much smaller form by First under HCC contract.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-14504302018810311892018-02-19T20:59:06.893+00:002018-02-19T20:59:06.893+00:00Thorney Island weird and desolate.....two of my cl...Thorney Island weird and desolate.....two of my closet friends lived here for the last 15 years. It is a military base with houses on their for the employees of the army. On visits here my two children (much younger than now) was always on their best behaviour due to having to cross the guard on duty who had a gun ha ha. As for the 11 service I suspect this was funded by West Sussex but there was never anybody on it and I bet the cost per passenger was greater than the cost of a taxi!!SIRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12446405117982468069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7432323264902617108.post-64066435934530294002018-02-19T16:10:32.459+00:002018-02-19T16:10:32.459+00:00The interwebbynet is fraught with pitfalls for the...The interwebbynet is fraught with pitfalls for the unwary.
